- Since 1985, archaeology professors Arlen and Diane Chase have been uncovering Maya secrets at Caracol, an ancient city located deep in the jungle of Belize.
- The College of Education and the Rosen College of Hospitality Management boast a 100 percent employment rate for its graduating students.
- More than 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students are enrolled in the College of Business Administration, making it one of the largest in the nation.
- Molecular Biology and Microbiology professor Mark Muller recently discovered a protein, called MKRNI, which is critical in the fight against cancer.
- In 2005, two University of Central Florida scientists developed a new way to find and remove mercury from polluted water.
Admission Requirements:

- GRE or GMAT exam scores (if required by graduate program)
- TOEFL exam scores if necessary (IELTS exam scores also accepted for graduate applicants)
- Immigration documents including proof of finances

English Language:
Minimum UCF exam requirements are as follows:- TOEFL score of 220 for graduate students or a score of 213 for undergraduate students (computer test or equivalent score on the paper test)
- TOEFL iBT score of 80.
- IELTS band score of 6.5 (graduate applicants only)
