Admission Requirements

English Proficiency

  • Intensive English instruction and conditional admission to the University are available to academically outstanding students.
  • For applicants whose first language is not English, proficiency is demonstrated by a score of TOEFL = 550+, or iTOEFL = 79+, or TOEFL-C = 213+, or IELTS = 6.5+.

Recommended Application Deadlines

  • Bachelor degree: Fall semester = July 1 Spring semester = November 1
  • Graduate degrees: most applications are considered on a rolling admission basis with a recommended filing date before:
          Fall semester = June 1
          Spring semester = November 1
          Summer semester = March 1
  • Graduate rolling admission deadline exceptions:
          PsyD Psychology = January 15
          Industrial/Organizational Psychology = February 1
          Biological Sciences = March 1
          Applied Behavioral Analysis = March 1
  • Graduate degree applicants who wish to be considered for research and teaching assistantships, should apply for the fall semester by January 15.
