  Program Description

The University of Iowa's Iowa Intensive English Program (IIEP) provides international students with intensive instruction and a cultural, social and academic introduction to the U.S. It focuses its training on improving students' grammar, writing, reading, listening comprehension, pronunciation and conversation skills. The Iowa Intensive English Program at The University of Iowa is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs.

  • Bank statement from financial guarantor
  • US $50 application fee
  • US $250 advance tuition deposit
  • Copy of the passport page which contains your picture and name, if possible
  • $40 express mailing fee
