What type of College is Bellevue College (BC)?

Bellevue College is a fully-accredited, government approved 2-year and 4-year college offering associate and bachelor degrees. The school enrolls approximately 20,000 students per quarter and there are four quarters in each school year: fall, winter, spring, and summer. There are around 900 international students on campus representing over 65 countries. BC is noted for setting technical standards in information technology that have been adopted across the United States and by the European Union. The school is situated in the heart of the technology corridor, which is home to Microsoft, Nintendo, Amazon.com, and Real Networks. Bellevue College has a full-range of educational options to help you meet your goals.

University Preparation (UP) is an AAIEP Certified Intensive English program. UP is a cost-effective, rigorous program of academic excellence. It has 5 levels, plus a bridge program to bring learners up to proficient levels in speaking, reading, writing, listening, and grammar. After successful completion of this program students can directly transfer into Bellevue College academic credit classes.

Special Programs offers groups of 10 or more the ability to customize their English training. Special Programs can combine English with Business Training, English with Computer Training, or English with Outdoor Activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, etc. Each group can create their own short-term or long-term special program.

Who Should Attend? Students looking to earn an associate degree in transfer or professional programs as well as short term certificate programs. Also students looking for bachelor degrees in Radiation and Imaging Sciences, and Interior Design

Why Should You Attend? To transfer to a four-year university or to earn professional skills and knowledge to complete in today's demanding global labor market. Bellevue also offers some bachelor degrees.

  • Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration, Children's Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, Technology, and Psychology through Eastern Washington University
  • Associate in Arts and Sciences (AAS-Transfer) - a two-year transfer program that requires 90 college level credits. Choose from 60 programs
  • Associate in Arts (AA-Non-transfer) - a two-year professional technical program that requires 90 college level credits. Choose from 30 programs.
  • Certificate programs - about a year or less short-term professional technical training programs. Choose from 60 different programs.
