Living in Wyoming
LCCC's main campus is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with a second campus located in Laramie, Wyoming. As a resident of these cities, you will enjoy the convenience, security and intimacy of living in medium-sized communities with theater, music, galleries, gardens, parks, restaurants and museums. A two-hour drive can take you into the heart of the major city of Denver, Colorado, or to a world of outdoor adventure in the majestic Rocky Mountains. Some of the West's most famous parks and landmarks, including Yellowstone National Park, Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore, are within a day's drive of Cheyenne.

Admission Requirements
- International student application form (available at www.lccc.wy.edu/international)
- $20 application fee
- Proof of financial support
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
- Official copies of high school and college transcripts, if applicable
- International students transferring from other US colleges must also be transferred to LCCC in SEVIS
English Language Requirements
Students must score at least a 500 (paper based) or 61 (iBT) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and 6.0 on the ILETS to take regular classes at LCCC. Students who do not meet these requirements are eligible for enrollment in English as a second language course.Study English With Us
LCCC offers English training for students who want to improve their English language skills. Our program is open to all levels of non-native English speakers. Students will take classes in grammar, reading, writing and listening/speaking.Other Important Information:
Student EmploymentStudents who enter the U.S. with an F-1 visa and maintain this status are eligible to work on the LCCC campus up to 20 hours per week.
Health Insurance
Students are required to provide proof of health insurance before they can register for classes.
Housing
On-campus housing is available at the Cheyenne campus. Our modern living accommodations are only a short walk from classrooms and labs. The cost of the residence hall includes cable television, local telephone and a meal plan.
Host families or off-campus apartments are other housing options for international students; however, there is no off-campus housing within walking distance of the LCCC campus. The international student adviser can provide more information about housing options.
